What do we think of the new Louis Vuitton adverts? I like the see-through bags (post below solely devoted to see-through bags), but I am not sure about the rest. the dresses are beautiful elegant sheer flower textured numbers which are to dye for, but the background is over the top tacky. Boo
Azzedine Alaïa in the 21st Century

Sadly I am not going skiing this year, however if I was... keeping in the spirit of 100 years of fashion, I thought I would celebrate a 100 years of Ski outfits. I think I may be the only one to find this funny, but it doesn't matter does it.
Engage a hard to reach, sophisticated and very stylish East London crowd without alienating the mainstream population. Affirm themselves as a superior fashion credentials. Acquire a maximum number of relevant customers at the opening Strategy:
We presented an idea, for the teaser campaign, based on a video of a 100 years of fashion, music and dancing from 1911 – 2011. There is a couple dancing in key East London backgrounds – and their clothes and music changing along the way to reflect the eras they were passing through.
I don't know what's got into me but I am on a role of music fashion mergers. Next up: Solange Knowles. This girls has amazing style, is a beauty, and fortunately/unfortunately is Beyonce's sister. I have glasses like these that I am too embarrassed to wear, but I won't be anymore, haha.
She has just released her track, Favors, made more then 4 years ago, it's stunning.
And what a voice too!
There is quite a bit of controversy on whether or not she has had her lips done.
Why would anyone put emphasis on something like that when there is so much to be said? great style, great hair, great frown. I like the Chanel earrings, and the Gucci inspired flower tops.
I'm loving black and white at the moment it seems. Or more the easiness of it all. Maybe sometimes it's nice to have less to focus on. Especially when you are wearing such brilliantly bold clothes. I love the textured flower patterned skirt with crochet top (see crochet post below), with the neatly center parted hair and black nails, serious 60s!
This song is absolutely incomprehensible. I have listened to it on repeat for that purpose as I have found it absolutely mesmerizing for exactly this reason. All I know is that it is extremely crude, but hey, that's how you get noticed. Azealia Banks is set to be the new Rihanna, she is even the supporting act for her tour!
She is playing in Camden's KOKO soon, which is definitely worth going to. And if her looks are anything to go by... Recently picked up by VICE magazine as one to watch out for too....

really like how purposefully 80s this all is.
Azealia is versatile.
She can do 50s funky hair, stripes and lips
So I found the lyrics and followed the song with them in my hand, so that I could try and decipher the song. Quite fun actually:
[Verse 2 - Azealia Banks]
I was in the 212
On the uptown A, nigga you know what’s up or don’t you?
Word to who made ya
I’m a rude bitch nigga, what are you made up of?

When you do make bucks, I’ma look right nigga, bet ya do want to fuck…
Fuck him like ya do want to cum
Your gay to get discovered in my two-one-deuce
Cock-a-licking in the water by the blue bayou
Caught the warm goo, in your doo-rag too, son?
Nigga you’re a kool-aid dude
Plus your bitch might lick it, wonder who let you come to one-two
With ya doo-doo crew son… fuck are you into, huh?
Niggas better oooh-run-run
You could get shot homie, if ya do want to
Put ya guns up, tell your crew don’t front
I’m a hoodlum nigga, you know you were too once
Bitch I’m ‘bout to blew up too

Who are you bitch, new lunch?
